Educational Outfitters Location in Maplewood Announces Purchase of Jack & Jill

Chattanooga, TN March 11, 2004 -- Educational Outfitters, Inc. a school uniforms, embroidery, screen printing services and promotional products company announced today that its franchise location in Maplewood, Mn. has purchased Jack & Jill, a competing uniform store located at 3939 50th Street in Edina, Minnesota. Jack & Jill has provided uniforms to schools in the west and south metro area since 1991.

Bob Nathanson, owner of Jack & Jill has been retained in an active consultant role by the new owners. Mr. Nathanson states, "When considering the sale of my business, I was concerned about finding a buyer who was committed to the school uniform business. I am most impressed with the owners of Educational Outfitters, their vision for the school uniform and apparel business and their dedication to providing outstanding service to their customers. I want to thank all of my faithful customers through the years and I'm most confident they will be in good hands with the new owners."

The Edina location will continue to operate under the Jack & Jill name, but will immediately reap the benefits of being associated with the nationwide chain of Educational Outfitters stores. Some of the new services that will be offered will be a web site for uniform orders, customized embroidery, screen printing and an expanded line of school apparel and products.
